In response to the city’s rising demand for climate-resilient urban amenities, Jeddah Municipality commissioned Tamimi Steel & Membrane to deliver a series of modular tensile car park structures. Designed for flexibility, efficiency, and visual clarity, the project contributes to urban livability by providing shaded parking across high-use zones and civic areas.
Each canopy was engineered as a pre-fabricated modular unit, optimized for solar shading, rain protection, and minimal ground disruption. The design emphasizes free vehicle circulation, aesthetic coherence, and adaptability to various urban layouts.

The tensile canopy spans over 27,000 m² of passenger platform area, forming a modular, lightweight cover composed of steel arches and PTFE membrane panels. Designed for rapid execution and long-term resilience, the system enhances shading, ventilation, and aesthetics while supporting the operational demands of a national transport hub.
