Commissioned as a landmark exhibition venue for the launch of Riyadh’s Metro Network Project, the Metro Visitor Center serves both functional and symbolic purposes. Located at a key urban junction, the pavilion required a lightweight yet striking tensile canopy that would represent the city’s commitment to innovation in urban mobility.

Tamimi Steel & Membrane was selected to design and execute the tensile envelope—resulting in a sculptural, light-filtering canopy system that blends architecture, engineering, and public engagement.

Installation & Integration:
- Installation executed in sequenced lifts with curved steel ribs and pre-measured membrane segments
- Close coordination with exhibition designers and AV contractors ensured seamless integration of lighting and media within the tensile shell
- Delivery aligned with key public milestones for the Riyadh Metro inauguration
