Lebanon’s First Tensile Roof for International Sport

As Lebanon prepared to host the 2000 AFC Asian Cup, the Tripoli International Stadium emerged as a flagship venue requiring a resilient, large-span tensile roofing system over its spectator stands. Tamimi Steel & Membrane, in partnership with PRAT SA, was selected to deliver a full design-build solution that responded to tight deadlines, coastal climate exposure, and international sporting standards.
